Founded in 1960, North Oaks has evolved into a comprehensive health system with a focus on providing the community with high quality health care close to home. With continued emphasis on providing centers of excellence, North Oaks has created the Heart Health Center, located within North Oaks Medical Center. The Heart Health Center focuses on care of the heart from prevention to rehabilitation.

Continuum of Care
Frequently cardiac patients experience more than just heart disease. They may have other diseases such as diabetes, lung disease or high blood pressure. As a full-service hospital, North Oaks is equipped to address many of a heart patient’s health conditions.

The Heart Health Center has dedicated 24-hour on-call surgical and cardiac catheterization teams. In addition, the 24-Hour Emergency Services Department staffs experienced physicians and nurses knowledgeable in the area of critical heart care and skilled at diagnosing heart-related issues quickly.
