Visiting Hours:
Monday through Friday, 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Saturday, Noon to 8:30 p.m.
Sunday, 9 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Things to Bring
To make your stay more comfortable, it is important for you to bring the following items:

• five comfortable pairs of pants
• five to six comfortable shirts
• closed-toe, rubber-soled shoes (such as tennis shoes)
• sleepwear and robe
• socks
• undergarments
• sweater or jacket
• grooming articles (razor, toothbrush, make-up, etc.).

Please label all items and avoid bringing large amounts of cash or valuable items.

For Your Safety:

• North Oaks Rehabilitation Hospital provides a totally tobacco-free environment.
• Please ring your call bell for the nurse if you need assistance.
• We provide bed rails for your safety.
• Always ask for assistance when getting in and out of your bed or wheelchair.

Additional Information

• Patients and families are responsible for their own laundry.
• Upon request, the case manager can assist you in contacting your minister or finding a minister of your denomination.
• Case managers are available to communicate health care concerns with your insurance agency or Medicare.
• Family and visitors are not allowed in the gym unless they are wearing a North Oaks Family Training tag.
• Cell phones should be turned on silent. While inside the Rehab gym, patients should refrain from answering cell phones during therapy sessions.
• All patient meals will be served in the dining area.
• The Rehabilitation Hospital cafeteria hours are:
  • Breakfast, 7–9 a.m.
  • Lunch, 11 a.m.–1:30 p.m.
  • Dinner, 5–6:30 p.m.

Follow Hwy. 51 North (S. Morrison Blvd.) approximately 1.5 miles.

Exit 40 (Business Hammond/Ponchatoula)
Go North (right) to third traffic light (Minnesota Park), turn left, go to fourth traffic light, turn right (S. Morrison Blvd.), travel one block.
