Our Facility
Our Healing Environment:
- During your stay, you will reside in one
of our private, handicap-accessible rooms.
- A large dining room is used for meals and
social activities.
- Family education and conference rooms are available.
Gym:
A 8,000 square foot comprehensive treatment area with advanced equipment and a separate kitchen, clothes washing area, and two training bathrooms is used to practice daily living skills.
Transitional Living Apartment:
Before you are discharged from the hospital, you may be scheduled to stay in the transitional living apartment. This apartment provides you and any caregiver you may have with an environment to practice the skills which will allow you to feel comfortable with your transition from the hospital setting to your home or your community. The apartment is equipped with a full kitchen, living room, bathroom and bedroom.
Therapeutic Garden:
One of the unique tools helping patients along the road to recovery is our therapeutic garden. Six flower beds at varying heights allow patients of all abilities to participate in projects. A variety of surfaces, including brick, cement, small and large gravel, sand and grass, test patients' mobility skills. Patients also can strengthen their problem-solving and language skills through identification of plants, care challenges and solutions.
At this time, the therapeutic garden is under renovation and is not available for our patients. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Aquatic Center:
Patients meeting participation criteria for aquatic therapy can take advantage of our adjoining Aquatic Center. [learn more]
