Lymphedema Treatment
Offered through North Oaks Rehabilitation Services
A common side-effect of cancer treatment is lymphedema, swelling in a patient’s arms and/or legs, resulting from poor circulation or removal of lymph nodes. Treatment may include manual drainage, compression therapy, exercise and education to restore range of motion, reduce pain and increase coping skills.
