Trent Joins North Oaks as Admissions Director
Laura Trent of Avondale recently joined North Oaks Health System in Hammond as Admissions Director.

She will oversee the areas of patient admissions, registration, scheduling and insurance verification.

Trent brings more than 24 years of related health care experience to her new position with North Oaks. Most recently, she served as manager of registration and admissions for the emergency department of Touro Infirmary in New Orleans. Her professional career also encompasses experience working with Ochsner Clinic Foundation in positions such as manager of musculoskeletal services, clinic office manager and in the area of operations research.

Trent earned a master’s degree in health care management from the University of New Orleans and a bachelor’s degree in business administration and management from the University of Phoenix in Metairie.
