North Oaks Joins Participating Provider Network for Choices Plus Members

North Oaks Health System has signed a participating provider agreement with Peoples Health to deliver health care services to individuals who are enrolled in Choices Plus, a local Medicare Advantage plan.

Choices Plus members will now have covered benefit access to all inpatient, outpatient and emergency services provided by North Oaks Medical Center and North Oaks Rehabilitation Hospital in Hammond.  Plan members also will be able to see family practice and specialty care physicians affiliated with North Oaks Health System Clinics, including: Magnolia Obstetrics & Gynecology in Hammond; North Oaks Cardiology in Hammond; North Oaks Family Medicine Clinics in Hammond, Independence and Walker; North Oaks Orthopedic Clinic in Ponchatoula; North Oaks Specialty Clinic in Walker; North Oaks Walk-In Clinics in Hammond and Walker; and Northshore Internal Medicine Associates in Hammond.

The Choices Plus network offers members the option of 20 participating hospital providers and 2,250 physicians in the Greater New Orleans, Baton Rouge and Hammond areas.
