North Oaks Offers Students Opportunity to Explore Medical Careers

If you are a student between the ages of 14 and 20 thinking about a career in health care, you may want to consider joining the Medical Explorers program of North Oaks Health System.

The North Oaks Medical Explorers Post, which is sponsored by the Boy Scouts of America, is now offering registration by phone through Wednesday, Oct. 10.

Explorers will meet one night each month from November 2007-May 2008 to hear selected health care workers discuss what their jobs are really like. The explorers also will have the opportunity to explore in several different areas of North Oaks facilities during winter, Mardi Gras and spring breaks.
