North Oaks Specialty Clinic Hosting “Heart 101” Screening Event
Get “schooled” on your personal risk of heart disease by enrolling in “Heart 101,” a free screening event to be sponsored by North Oaks Specialty Clinic in Walker on Saturday, February 10 from 8 a.m. to noon.

Heart 101 is designed to help identify heart disease risk and promote healthy lifestyle changes. Each participant will receive cholesterol and glucose screenings, blood pressure checks, a heart risk assessment and a personal consultation with a cardiologist concerning screening results.

Heart 101 is the first event in a series of “Especially for You” health educational programs and screenings planned for Livingston Parish residents by North Oaks Specialty Clinic. Especially for You events will be hosted at North Oaks Specialty Clinic, which is located in Walker’s Southside Plaza at 28050 Walker South Road (next to Wal-Mart).
