North Oaks Clinic to Host Free “Healthy Resolutions” Presentation in Walker

Join North Oaks Community Educator Maryellen Jenkins for a presentation on making healthy lifestyle choices a part of your New Year’s resolutions on Thursday, Jan. 10 at 6 p.m. at the Livingston Parish Literacy and Technology Center, located at 9261 Florida Boulevard in Walker.

The presentation will cover setting reasonable and healthy goals for yourself in a variety of areas of life, as well as tips for helping to make your resolutions stick. Topics will include eating choices, physical activity, bone loss, age-related health exams and paying attention to “self.” Healthy refreshments will be served.

The “Healthy Resolutions” presentation is the sixth free community event hosted this year as part of North Oaks Clinic’s ongoing “Especially for You” health education series.
