North Oaks Diabetes Support Group to Learn about
the New Diabetic Exchange List
The North Oaks Diabetes Support Group will learn about the newly expanded and updated meal planning lists produced by The American Dietetic Association and the American Diabetes Association at their Wednesday, April 2 meeting from
6-7 p.m.

The free meeting will be held in the E. Brent Dufreche Conference Center, located within North Oaks Diagnostic Center in Hammond.

The new diabetic exchange lists include many newly added foods, and food groups are organized to allow more choice and flexibility. Dietetic Intern Brittany Taylor will explain the changes and help participants understand how the new lists fit into their healthy diet and lifestyle.
