Jarreau Promoted to Assistant Human Resources Officer for North Oaks Health System
Jeff Jarreau, RN, BSN, of Independence has been promoted to Assistant Human Resources Officer for North Oaks Health System.
In his new role, Jarreau will assist North Oaks Human Resources Officer Carolyn Adema with managing the strategic and operational human resources functions of the health system. He also will work with North Oaks managers to build knowledge and meet objectives reflective of health system needs.
Jarreau, who brings over a decade of management, education and leadership experience to his new role, began his career with North Oaks in 1991 as a Registered Nurse on the Telemetry Unit. He went on to serve as a Charge Nurse before becoming Coordinator for the Telemetry Unit in 1995. In 2003, he was promoted to Education Director to oversee the areas of staff development, North Oaks School of Radiologic Technology, as well as community, employee and patient education. Three years later, he was promoted to Employee Services Director in charge of managing the daily operations of Human Resources, the Employment Center and the health system’s benefits and compensation program.
Jarreau earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond. Professionally, he belongs to the Greater New Orleans Society of Healthcare Human Resources Administration, the American Society of Healthcare Human Resources Administration and the Society for Human Resources Management.
