Student Athlete of the Season

North Oaks Sports Medicine is proud to partner with high schools in Tangipahoa and Livingston Parishes to honor student-athletes who go above and beyond on and off the field. We offer the “Student-Athlete of the Season” Program to encourage students to excel in athletics and academics.

One female and male athlete is recognized each season – spring, winter and fall. These students can be nominated by their principals, coaches or athletic directors. Each “Student-Athlete of the Season” is eligible for “Student-Athlete of the Year” in May, and this honor is voted on by the public.

How to Nominate a Student-Athlete

Nominate a student-athlete of the season from your school and give him/her the recognition they deserve.

To qualify, student-athletes must

  • excel in athletic competition during the past season
  • have a 3.0 GPA or higher
  • be active in school/community organizations
  • show respect for coaches, teammates, officials, teachers and other students

Nomination Periods & Deadlines

Fall Season (August – October)
Due: November 12

Winter Season (November – January)
Due: January 15

Spring Season (February – April)
Due: April 5
