Stroke Rehabilitation Program
At North Oaks Rehabilitation Hospital, our focus is on you and your family. Our team of rehabilitation specialists will work closely with you and your family during the daily therapy sessions. In addition, family conferences will be held so we can address and answer any questions or concerns you and your family might have during your stay, as well as when you’re ready to be discharged from the hospital.

Your Expert Team of Professionals
The admission process starts with a nurse who will assess the effects of the stroke and other conditions you might have. Other experts may also provide input regarding your application for admission . If you meet the requirements for admission, you will work with a specially trained team to set goals that help you reach your highest level of independent living.

Education and Support Groups
The Stroke Support Group of Hammond offers support, socialization and education for stroke survivors and their caregivers. Meetings take place in the Conference Room of North Oaks Rehabilitation Hospital at 1900 S. Morrison Blvd. in Hammond.
