Urologist Jay W. Heintz, MD, Joins North Oaks Multispecialty Group
Urologist Jay W. Heintz, MD, will join the staff of North Oaks Multispecialty Group in Livingston effective December 7, 2012. Dr. Heintz treats conditions of the male and female urinary tracts and male reproductive system. He also treats disorders of the kidney, bladder and prostate.

Dr. Heintz is trained in robotic and minimally invasive surgical techniques to treat kidney and prostate cancer and Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH). He also is skilled in the treatment of low testosterone and erectile dysfunction.
A graduate of Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Dr. Heintz completed a general surgery internship and urology residency through the University of Maryland in Baltimore. Prior to medical school, Dr. Heintz earned a bachelor’s degree in molecular and cell Biology and a master’s degree in Pharmacology from Tulane University.
“Practicing urology allows me to care for my patients for the entire course of their treatment—from screenings to surgery,” explains Dr. Heintz. “I am looking forward to working with my North Oaks colleagues in caring for the urological needs of the Livingston Parish community.” Other urologists on staff at North Oaks Multispecialty Group include Drs.
